Ten people were injured, four critically, and three law enforcement officers were hurt Monday evening after gunfire erupted in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, in response to police.
Charleston Mayor John Tecklenburg referred to as the Memorial Day rampage a mass capturing, saying "we’re counting our blessings that no one in this incident was killed."

Reynolds said there were greater than 100 proof markers at the capturing scene, and greater than half are shell casings.
“There’s a number of weapons that have been fired. Handguns, long guns, 223 rounds. If anybody doesn’t know what a 223 spherical will do, it’ll blow your leg right off, it’ll blow your head right off your shoulders.
