The family of an 11-year-old woman who survived the bloodbath at Robb Elementary Faculty in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader played lifeless after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother stated the 4th grader is struggling to manage and telling them what she witnessed in the course of the taking pictures.

"Around midnight my sister-in-law called me and he or she was simply crying, like 'I believe it simply hit Miah. I feel every part came to actuality now,'" said Blanca Rivera.

Rivera stated Miah's instructor, Irma Garcia, was one of the two lecturers killed. Her friends and classmates have been also focused.

Rivera said that's when Miah went into survival mode.

"Miah obtained some blood and put it on herself so she might fake she was useless," said Rivera. "It is too much for me to play that scene over and over, but that is what my sister-in-law mentioned is that she noticed her good friend stuffed with blood and he or she bought blood and put it on herself."

Miah was injured however taken to the hospital and has been launched.

"My brother said she had bullet fragments in her back," stated Rivera.

Rivera, a mom of three, mentioned the family is rallying round Miah to assist her get better physically, emotionally and spiritually.

"At this level, we simply have to pray and ask God to help us move forward via this case, I do know it is traumatizing as it's," stated Rivera.

Nearly everyone within the town of Uvalde has been touched by the loss of someone within the mass capturing at Robb Elementary Faculty, residents are supporting each other as they start coping with the tragedy.
