The household of an 11-year-old woman who survived the bloodbath at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader played dead after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother mentioned the 4th grader is struggling to cope and telling them what she witnessed through the taking pictures.

"Round midnight my sister-in-law known as me and she was simply crying, like 'I feel it simply hit Miah. I believe all the things came to reality now,'" said Blanca Rivera.

Rivera mentioned Miah's teacher, Irma Garcia, was one of many two academics killed. Her buddies and classmates have been also focused.

Rivera said that's when Miah went into survival mode.

"Miah got some blood and put it on herself so she could pretend she was dead," said Rivera. "It is an excessive amount of for me to play that scene over and over again, however that's what my sister-in-law stated is that she saw her buddy filled with blood and she or he bought blood and put it on herself."

Miah was injured however taken to the hospital and has been released.
