Drunk driver crashes, heads straight to dealership to try to promote broken car with lacking tire

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Police say they arrested a driver who was 3.5 occasions the authorized alcohol limit after a minimum of 5 people known as 911.

Officers say the calls began coming in round 4:40 p.m. Monday.

They are saying witnesses reported seeing a SUV hit the median of the Lloyd Expressway near the Principal Avenue exit. They say the crash precipitated a flat tire and the car to smoke, however the driver saved going.

They are saying he finally stopped at a automotive dealership and appeared “super drunk.”
