Juveniles Crash Stolen Automobile Near White House: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles have been injured Monday after crashing a stolen car into a concrete security barrier close to the White House, the U.S. Secret Service mentioned.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the car about 6:30 p.m., but the driver took off.

The car slammed into a concrete barrier and a telephone pole at seventeenth Road and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officers mentioned.

Video reveals a silver sedan partly crumpled in the front across the street from a Secret Service guard publish, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the street.

There were two juveniles in the automobile. Each have been taken to a hospital and are actually in secure condition, officers stated. We don't know their precise ages.

They’re anticipated to face prices.

D.C. police are investigating.
