Now, the 12-year-old lady is being criminally charged with disorderly conduct, her family lawyer Drew DeVinney informed CNN.
"A juvenile delinquency petition has been filed in opposition to Jane Doe in Kenosha County," DeVinney said. "However, the proceedings and court docket filings are confidential."
The complete contents of the legal grievance weren't immediately available as a result of she is a minor. The Kenosha County District Legal professional's Office couldn't comment on a juvenile matter.
In March, the Kenosha Police Division confirmed to CNN that a legal charge of disorderly conduct had been referred to prosecutors for "both juveniles concerned within the incident." The charge comes after video showed two students in a combat March 4 at Lincoln Middle College in Kenosha. Off-duty Kenosha Police officer Shawn Guetschow, working college security at the time, tried to break it up before both being hit or falling backward with one of the college students, the video reveals. It appears he hits his head on the sting of a nearby table, the video shows.
Shortly after, Guetschow is seen on high of the student and appears to push her head into the ground with one hand after which place his knee on her neck for greater than 20 seconds, the video exhibits. The 12-year-old girl is finally handcuffed, picked up and led away, in response to the video.

CNN has reached out to the Kenosha Police Division for comment but has not gotten a response.
Pete Deates, president of the Kenosha Skilled Police Association, had not seen all the small print of the civil claim when reached by CNN. However, he previously told CNN that Guetschow was injured as part of the incident.
In an announcement offered to CNN, Sam Hall Jr., attorney for the Kenosha Unified College District, wrote, "The allegations within the Notice of Declare are unfounded. The Kenosha Unified College District will vigorously defend itself and its employees within the event that litigation is initiated in this matter."
