9 Shot, One Lifeless in San Bernardino County – NBC Los Angeles

One person was killed and eight others have been injured Friday evening when pictures have been fired at a large party at a strip mall hookah lounge within the San Bernardino County neighborhood of Highland.

The shooting in the city east of San Bernardino was reported just before midnight in the 3600 block of East Highland Avenue. Officers encountered a big crowd of about 100 individuals in the space for a party at a hookah lounge.

A taking pictures victim positioned outside died at the scene. A woman on the scene who identified herself as the victim's grandmother mentioned he is 20 years previous.

Eight other people have been hospitalized with what look like non-life-threatening injuries, police stated. The sheriff's division initially stated 10 folks had been shot, but later updated that number to nine, including the deceased sufferer.
