Sherpa girl climbs Everest for tenth time, breaks own record

A Nepali Sherpa broke her own report as essentially the most profitable feminine climber of Mount Everest by reaching the summit of the world’s highest peak Thursday

KATHMANDU, Nepal -- A Nepali Sherpa broke her personal file as the most successful feminine climber of Mount Everest by reaching the summit of the world's highest peak Thursday.

Lakpa Sherpa and several different climbers took advantage of favorable weather to succeed in the 8,849-meter (29,032-foot) summit early in the morning, her brother and expedition organizer Mingma Gelu mentioned. He mentioned she was in good health and was safely descending from the peak.

Sherpa, 48, by no means received a chance to get a proper training because she needed to start incomes a living by carrying climbing gear and provides for trekkers. Thursday's successful ascent was her tenth — the most instances any woman has climbed Everest — and she or he has always said she wished to inspire all women so that they too can achieve their goals.

A native of Nepal, Sherpa lives in the U.S. along with her three kids in West Hartford, Connecticut.

Another Nepalese Sherpa information, Kami Rita, reached the summit for the twenty sixth time Saturday, breaking his own document for essentially the most climbs of Everest.
