Afghanistan’s supreme chief and Taliban chief on Saturday ordered the nation’s ladies to wear the all-covering burqa in public - one of the harshest controls imposed on ladies’s lives because the Taliban seized energy.
“They should wear a chadori (head-to-toe burqa) as it is traditional and respectful,” mentioned a decree issued by Hibatullah Akhundzada that was released by Taliban authorities at a function in Kabul.
“These ladies who are usually not too previous or younger must cover their face, besides the eyes, as per sharia directives, in an effort to avoid provocation when assembly males who aren't mahram (grownup close male family members),” the decree stated.
It added that if girls had no important work exterior it was “better they keep at dwelling.”
