Teen arrested after mom noticed son had gun at Texas school drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Gray Information) - A number of agencies responded to a center faculty in Texas Friday morning after an adolescent’s mom seen he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock inform KCBD a mom was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Middle School around 9 a.m. when she seen the firearm. The teen by no means made it inside the constructing, and he ran from the school.
The Lubbock Police Department responded to the area together with a number of other companies in an attempt to find him.
The teenager was found near the college’s campus and brought into custody.
Authorities mentioned the 15-year-old could possibly be facing a felony weapons cost.
Police say there was no risk made to the school or anybody inside the college.
O.L. Slaton Center College was briefly positioned on lockout because of the incident.
