Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of eating Huge Macs every single day

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum Information Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Large Mac streak started on May 17, 1972.

“I’ve only missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I count every Big Mac. I’ve counted every Huge Mac I’ve eaten my complete life,” Gorske said.

Gorske eats two Big Macs a day.

“All through life here, a lot of people stated, ‘You’ll be lifeless earlier than you attain 50 years of eating Large Macs.’ I assume I proved them wrong,” he said.

His son is not surprised at his father’s persistence.

“We all the time went to McDonald’s with my dad and had pleased meals. I at all times beloved my rooster nuggets, and my brother all the time cherished his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s simply an everyday life kind of factor for us,” he said.

Gorske’s son has extra of a diversified diet.

“I used to eat rooster nuggets day by day. I used to eat cheeseburgers day-after-day, but ultimately you simply get sick of it. I don’t know the way he does it, but he actually does,” he stated.

Gorske says he'll proceed consuming Huge Macs with a Coca-Cola on the facet until he dies.
