Wisconsin man celebrates 50 years of eating Big Macs every single day

MILWAUKEE (Spectrum News Milwaukee) - Don Gorske’s Huge Mac streak began on May 17, 1972.

“I’ve only missed eight days in 50 years, which is phenomenal. And like I say, I depend each Big Mac. I’ve counted each Huge Mac I’ve eaten my whole life,” Gorske said.

Gorske eats two Large Macs a day.

“All by life right here, a lot of people said, ‘You’ll be dead earlier than you reach 50 years of eating Large Macs.’ I guess I proved them incorrect,” he stated.

His son shouldn't be stunned at his father’s persistence.

“We all the time went to McDonald’s with my dad and had completely satisfied meals. I always cherished my hen nuggets, and my brother always beloved his hamburgers. It’s how we grew up. It’s just an everyday life type of factor for us,” he mentioned.

Gorske’s son has more of a various food plan.

“I used to eat hen nuggets every single day. I used to eat cheeseburgers each day, however eventually you just get sick of it. I don’t know the way he does it, but he actually does,” he said.

Gorske says he'll continue consuming Huge Macs with a Coca-Cola on the side till he dies.

“A number of occasions people will say, ‘You appear to be I’m consuming a Big Mac for the first time,’” Gorske mentioned. “I guess that’s how I really feel generally. They’re that good to me, and there’s really nothing else I’d slightly eat,” he mentioned.
