Teen arrested after mother seen son had gun at Texas school drop-off

LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD/Gray Information) - Several businesses responded to a center faculty in Texas Friday morning after an adolescent’s mom seen he was carrying a gun.
Police in Lubbock tell KCBD a mom was dropping off her 15-year-old son at O.L. Slaton Middle College around 9 a.m. when she seen the firearm. The teenager by no means made it contained in the constructing, and he ran from the varsity.
The Lubbock Police Department responded to the realm along with several different agencies in an try to find him.
The teen was discovered close to the college’s campus and brought into custody.
Authorities stated the 15-year-old might be dealing with a felony weapons cost.
Police say there was no threat made to the college or anyone inside the varsity.
O.L. Slaton Middle College was briefly positioned on lockout on account of the incident.
