Juveniles Crash Stolen Automotive Near White House: Officers – NBC4 Washington

Two juveniles had been injured Monday after crashing a stolen automotive into a concrete security barrier close to the White House, the U.S. Secret Service stated.

A Secret Service spokesperson tells News4 that officers tried to drag over the automobile about 6:30 p.m., however the driver took off.

The automobile slammed into a concrete barrier and a phone pole at 17th Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue NW, officials stated.

Video shows a silver sedan partly crumpled within the entrance across the road from a Secret Service guard put up, plus a concrete barrier pushed into the highway.

There have been two juveniles in the automotive. Both were taken to a hospital and are now in steady situation, officers said. We don't know their precise ages.

They’re expected to face charges.

D.C. police are investigating.
