The family of an 11-year-old lady who survived the bloodbath at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday says the 4th grader played dead after the gunman entered her classroom.

Miah Cerrillo's aunt and godmother stated the 4th grader is struggling to cope and telling them what she witnessed throughout the shooting.

"Round midnight my sister-in-law called me and she was just crying, like 'I feel it simply hit Miah. I think all the things got here to actuality now,'" stated Blanca Rivera.

Rivera said Miah's instructor, Irma Garcia, was one of many two lecturers killed. Her associates and classmates had been additionally focused.
