Federal agents entered Uvalde school to kill gunman regardless of local police initially asking them to attend

Federal brokers who went to Robb Elementary Faculty in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday to confront a gunman who killed 19 children have been instructed by local police to attend and never enter the college — after which determined after about half an hour to disregard that initial guidance and find the shooter, say two senior federal legislation enforcement officials.

In keeping with the officers, agents from BORTAC, the Customs and Border Protection tactical unit, and ICE's Homeland Safety Investigations (HSI) arrived on the scene between noon and 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
