Paul Pelosi: Nancy Pelosi’s husband arrested on DUI fees

Paul Pelosi, 82, was arrested at 11:44 p.m. PT and charged with driving beneath the affect and driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or increased, in keeping with the Napa County Felony Justice Community's public reserving report. Both fees are misdemeanors.

Pelosi was attempting to cross SR-29 when his 2021 Porsche was hit by a 2014 Jeep traveling northbound on the highway, in keeping with a collision report from the California Freeway Patrol, which doesn't establish either driver as being at fault in the crash. Troopers have been known as to the scene just earlier than 10:30 p.m., the report stated.

There were no accidents reported within the crash and the Jeep's driver was not arrested, the report said.

CNN has reached out to the freeway patrol and the Napa County Sheriff's Office for added particulars.

Bail was set at $5,000 according to the booking report, and information indicate Pelosi was launched Sunday morning.

"The Speaker is not going to be commenting on this private matter which occurred whereas she was on the East Coast," a statement from Drew Hammill, Pelosi's spokesperson, mentioned. CNN reached out for an updated assertion after the collision report was released.
