DALLAS - The high courtroom will enable a wrongful death lawsuit to proceed towards the town of Dallas and four police officers.
The household of a man who died in police custody in 2016 sued.
Tony Timpa known as police for help as he had a drug and psychological health crisis.

Town of Dallas argued the officers are legally shielded from lawsuits.
The Supreme Court upheld a federal appeals court docket’s ruling that will enable the case to proceed.

"The choice means that the case can proceed to trial and that there might be no more delays from any appellate court docket.
